Racing.com

This year I've had the privilege of working with the team at Racing.com to bring some of my work on the lost racecourses of Victoria to air. On screen you'll see me with Edward Sadler but off screen is Leigh Turner who brings it all together for us.

Episode 1 - Woodend

First off we went to Woodend where there's still a grandstand and some other infrastructure in place. There was a long history of racing at Woodend, only finishing in 1982. In this episode you'll also see that we managed to get our hands on some race footage from 1980.

Episode 3 - Ocen Grove

No it wasn't Baywatch but we did go to the beach - Ocean Grove to take a look at what used to be the Collendina Cup. We worked in a very strong Sadler link and Racing.com race callers that were at the beach.

Episode 4 - Belmont (Geelong)

This wasn't going to be its own episode but it came up so well we decided to run it alone. It's short and sweet and covers a course that very few know about.

Episode 2 - Newstead

For the second episode I took Ed to Newstead. He hadn't been there before but he was in for a treat. This is my favourite former racecourse.

In studio at the desk

I had the opportunity to go into the studio with Ed and Sam Lyons to discuss my books and the series to date.
